Macbook Air Mid 2011 Software Update How To

I encountered a similar issue when trying to install windows 10 on a Macbook Air 2011. Actually I encountered two issues. 1) The windows 10 installation file that I have was meant for a 32 bit version. In this case I downloaded the 46 bit version and installed it with no issues. 2) The external drive (USB) I used wasn't formatted correctly. Hello, I just want to ask, how can I upgrade my Mid 2011 iMac to latest supported OSX. I'm currently on 10.7.5 and whenever I try to update everything is not supported High Sierra/Catalina (requirements is 10.8 and above). Is there a way to update without official channels?
